Flashback Friday – Screen Climbing

Today I’d like to Flashback to earlier this summer to share one of my very fond memories of climbing lady grandma’s screen door!

The slaves took me in the travel robot for a 2 hour drive to get to lady Grandma’s! I didn’t like the idea of the floor moving at first, but I got used to it pretty quickly. I was really excited that I was going to have a whole weekend to explore some new territory!

It was a nice day and at one point everyone left me alone inside… I decided the best way to get their attention was to do a little mischief! I started climbing up and down the screen, getting pretty high-up sometimes! The picture right below shows a time when I went a little too far to the side and got sandwiched between the screen and the other door lolol!

Yup, I think it’s safe to say, mischief accomplished!

Thursday Thirteen – Morning Mischief

1. When I wake up in the morning, I immediately wake up lady servant by lying down as close to her as possible, (which often means on top of her) and then purr purr purr.

2. The above event will start whenever I am ready for my 20 minutes of petting. It doesn’t matter if lady servant is not ready to wake-up, I’m the boss of her.

3. If lady servant is not being cooperative I will shove my nose in her eyes until she finally opens them to see how pretty I am!

4. When I’ve had enough petting, it’s time for lady servant to get out of my bed. I’ll let her know when it’s time by biting her hand and refusing to purr anymore. (I also like to bite male servant as shown below!)

5. After stretching and doing my nails on my cat post, it’s time to look for the coffee! I don’t usually get lucky during the week though because the servants use thermos cups that have a cover! On weekends, I always manage to sneak a few sips!

6. Next it’s time to wake up the old lady downstairs! I’ve never met her, but I’m sure she appreciates me chasing toys at 6am! If her alarm clock ever breaks, she can count on me to make sure she’s up when I say so.

7. After working up a sweat, it’s time to jump in the shower! Some days if I’m feeling extra nutty i’ll run right in while it’s running. Other days I’ll just stick my head in and wait for the servant to get out.

8. After the shower it’s time to protect lady servant from danger by attacking the wire of her hair dryer! (I’m in my ready to pounce position below!)

9. By this time lazy servant should be up and I’ll go bug him to feed me. I try to remind him by biting his feet but he doesn’t seem to get the message because I also bite his feet for no particular reason throughout the rest of the day lolol!

10. If the servants are taking too long to open the blinds, I’ll remind them by climbing them. I wouldn’t want them to go for the day and leave me in the dark!

11. At this point, I always eavesdrop on the servants talking about removing someones nails.

12. I make sure to put a fresh coat of hair on any sweater the lady servant plans to wear that day; its always the one she leaves on the sofa. This way she thinks of me all day! lolol

13. Finally, the last morning activity is to make believe that I am trying to run out of the home when the servants leave just to make them feel guilty for leaving (as if I’d want to spend the day out there, no place mat basket pft!).

Naps on Tuesday – Excellent Snooze Spots

After a busy evening of chewing on stinky shoes and chasing my mice down the hallway I decided to try and settle down for a little nap on the printer! I think the printer was actually designed as a bed for me because there is a nice comfortable groove which I can fit right into very nicely. Now I just need to figure out how to close this darn light beside my nap spot! I’m thinking either knocking it down or chewing on it should get the job done lolol!

Of course, the printer isn’t the only place where I like to nap! The slaves have been very obedient and as per my orders have left me many beds throughout the house. For example, here is another comfy spot I found on the office desk recently!

That nap shown above was a really good one because I just love sleeping on place mats! In fact, my most favorite bed of all is the very beautiful and comfortable one the slaves created for me right in the center of the kitchen table which is a Tamra sized basket padded with place mats!

All of this nap talk sure has made me sleepy! I think I’ll go open all the closet doors to find the stinkiest pair of shoes to nap on!

The Grey Mouse on the String!

I know I’ve talked a lot about my red mouse because it is by far my favorite toy, but that doesn’t mean I don’t like to attack other mice too! Here are some pictures of me from July 1, celebrating Canada day by hunting this crazy mouse on a string!!

 As you can see, this mouse has a giant tail that a little kitty could never resist!

Here is a better look at the mouse himself! It’s good to get to know him before I chew on him… Keep your friends close and your enemies closer!
