Thursday Thirteen – What’s Going on Lately

Today’s Thursday Thirteen will help explain why I haven’t been blogging as much as usual lately!

1 – The lady servant has been doing a three person job (but not getting a three person pay) for the last few weeks! This has kept her late at work or exhausted at home which has allowed me to get away with more mischief than usual. Unfortunately I’ve been blogging less than usual because I need to capitalize on this rare opportunity to unleash chaos!

2 – The lady servant also abandoned me for the whole weekend to go far away and visit grandpaw who was in the hospital with blood clot problems. He got in trouble for sneaking a beer into the hospital in his suitcase, but otherwise should be fine if he responds well to his meds, although the problem is quite serious. I hope he’s ok.

3 – On Tuesday it was time to take out my stitches. At the vet, 5 technicians tried to take them out but after the way they shaved me last time I refused to let them anywhere near me. They ended up suggesting I be sedated lolol! The servants took me home and decided to try themselves instead.

4 – The servants managed to trick me into revealing my pink belly by distracting me with treats and a good head scratch. They got 3 of the 4 stitches out before I realized it was time to give them the bitey.

5 – The servants and the folks at the vet found out that I can actually meow and scream louder than any other cat or dog they’ve ever heard before! The vet technicians say I have catitude.

6 – I’ve begun to discover that sleeping under the covers can be quite fun, especially when you have a shaved belly. It’s nice and warm under there.

7 – The lady servant is spending too much time talking to the servants of my furry parents. They talk a lot about the wite rats, I’m getting nervous.

8 – The servants are making very crazy and unrealistic demands of me. They say I can use the counter to hop up onto the cupboards but they pull a huge fit every time I walk on the stove. They say it gets hot and is dangerous… I KNOW!

9 -  I’ve been showing lots of cattitude lately. Expression is key to demanding better service!

10 – I spend my nights gradually stretching out horizontally on the bed so that by morning the lady servant is almost hanging off the side lol! I may be tiny, but I need my stretching room.

11 – The servants have been complaining about sore necks for the last few weeks as I have claimed their so called pillows as my new bed. If they still try to use them during the night, I’ll just lie down on their heads.

12 – The lady servants is going to the doctor this morning for something! I hope she is feeling well soon and the doctor recommends her some nap time with Tamra!

13 – The servants have been taking Temptations in their lunches everyday for the last week without giving me any…!

Tuesday New With You

Tara & Kavan  tagged me for a fun meme! Here is how it works:

You have to tell every kitty 3 things that are new with you! Link it back to the kitty who gave it to you and pass it on to 3 more kitties you’d like to know more about!

Hmmm… so what’s new with me? It’s hard to pick just three things, there are so many!

What’s new with Tamra Maew the siamese cat

1. I’m getting furr to slowly grow back on my tummy…! It’s not quite as pink anymore, although now I’m worried that my new furr will be much darker than the rest of my tummy furr because meezers grow darker furr on cooler parts of their body and my belly sure gets chilly now that its shaved!

2. I’ve discovered that walking above the kitchen cupboards can be a very fun and acrobatic activity. The servants don’t seem to appreciate when I jump straight down from 7 feet up instead of using the counter lolol! They worry too much, if the ceiling wasn’t in my way I’d jumpdown from even higher!

3. I’m still very nervous about that red collar the servants brought home but never let me wear… Especially since I’ve just heard the servants talking about my biological parents and their six new wite rats…

I’ll tag some kitties that are new to me and that I would love to get to now more about:

1 –

2 – Scout

3 – Napoleon

Back Home and Feeling Sleepy

Today I came home from the vet and was very happy to see my servants. Even though I wanted to jump into their arms, I pretended to be sleeping because I was embarrassed to show what the cold stick man did to me! They did far worse than spraying me… they shaved me!

Tamra Maew Relaxing

I couldn’t resist a comfy servant lap for long though… :)

Tamra Maew Relaxing 2

I tried to cover up what was done to me, but eventually the servants got curious to see what I was covering up…

Pink Siamese Kitten Belly

Can you believe it! My whole belly got shaved by the cold stick man and now all thats left there is pink skin! They say I have to go back in 10 days to get my stitches removed and when I do that vet better be hiding because I plan to shave his head to see how he likes it! If you look closely at the picture below, my belly is the same color as my tongue now.

Pink Siamese Kitten Tongue

I am really glad to be home though. The servants say I need to take it easy and rest but they should have hid my mousies if they really wanted that because after being cooped up for 2 days I just want to run around and play again.

Tamra Spends Night at Vet Clinic

We dropped Tamra off at the vet clinic last night because they feel it is best to have the animal come in the night before the spaying surgery so that they are not as stressed when operation time does come. We really miss her already!

Today she will have her operation and will then spend the night at the vet again to keep her under observation to ensure the procedure went well. We made sure she had her favorite blankie with her and plenty of her own food so she feels a little more comfortable. We’ll be able to go pick her up early Friday morning.

Even though it’s a routine procedure, we’re still worried! We hope everything goes well and she’ll be back home with us soon! We look forward to all the bites we will receive when she finds out we posted on her blog…! Also, sorry in advance Tamra that we’ll have visitors when you get home ;)

Tamra’s Loyal Servants

Thinking Blogger Award

You know who doesn’t do a lot of thinking? My servants. They’re planning on bringing me back to the Cold Stick man tomorrow… something about getting me spayed? See, my servants can’t even talk right, I’m sure they meant sprayed and I can tell you right now they are definitely not thinking when they spray me with the water bottle. I’m going to go sharpen my teeth right now because if they think I’m going to let the Cold Stick man spray me with anything after what he did to me last time they’re soooo wrong.

On a brighter note, I got a thinking blogger award from Kavan and Storm! Thanks so much for thinking about me ;)

Thinking Blogger Award

Those who receive this award are entrusted with 4 simple rules:

1. You must write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think.

2. Acknowledge this post.

3. Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote.

4. Go tell your humans to fork over the treats!

Since we cats as a species are far more intelligent than our human servants it’s quite difficult to decide who makes us think the most because we are all so smart! I’ll give the award to those who have made me think the most recently.

  1. Luna made me think about Garfield and Momo a lot. I hope they found nice homes.
  2. Maobert gave me a lot to think about when I saw the trouble he was having yesterday with his wite rat. Especially when I remembered what TT Girl said about maybe the red collar that doesn’t match me is for a new brother or sister
  3. Derby made me think a lot about his comment that a house with a cat doesn’t need sculptures. I don’t see why the servants were so mad at me when I broke their expensive vase…
  4. Baby Mao made me think a lot about his Meezer Rule regarding being distracted by a passing fly. It reminded me to go hunt the fruit flies I found buzzing around a flower pot yesterday… will finish this list later!

UPDATE: I stepped on all the flies lolol! Hmmm… where was I?

5. Brainball just because the name makes me think he must be a thinker.

Be sure to pass the award on to other thinking bloggers!
